Tropical monsoon activity continues to be visible in the north of the country
with convective cloud and thunderstorms. Ex-tropical cyclone Kimi can still be
seen rotating and convection north west of the WA coast is also most evident.

A trough along the WA coast extends across the NT, central QLD and in to
northeast NSW bringing a band of mid-high level cloud through these regions.

A high pressure system south of the Bight is directing low cloud over coastal
parts of southeast WA, SA, and VIC.

A cold front crossing the Tasman sea is bringing "speckled" cloud in it's wake,
including over Tas.

The remainder of the continent is mostly clear.
