A middle level cloud over northwest Australia is the result of tropical moisture
being advected away from occasional thunderstorm activity southwest of Java.
While a moist onshore flow has brought patchy low cloud to the far north of
Queensland.

In the west, a cloud band is tracking across southern WA. This cloud band is
associated with a cold front and developing low pressure system south of the
Bight.

The remainder of the continent is mostly clear due to a ridge of high pressure.
