IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1200UTC chart on 22 May 2015 Issued at 12:16 am EST Saturday on 23 May 2015 Cloud with isolated thunderstorms over central and southeast parts of WA is the combined result of a surface and an upper level trough. High cloud can be seen streaming across SA ahead of the upper level trough. A cold front with associated cloud band and embedded thunderstorms is approaching the southwest parts of WA. Low cloud can be seen in the southerly wind flow along the NSW coast and is due to a complex low pressure system located over the Tasman Sea. A strong high pressure system located to the south of SA, extends a ridge over the remainder of the country and is maintaining mostly clear skies.
