An area of middle level cloud extends over central areas of Queensland, New
South Wales and Victoria, and is associated with a slow moving surface trough.

A cold front now lies over southeastern South Australia, producing a band of
rainfall ahead of the system, followed by an area of showers and thunderstorms
which are currently crossing the Eyre Peninsula.

A high is directing a moist onshore flow to the remaining southern coastlines of
Western Australia and SA, with patchy low level cloud present in this area.

A weakening low pressure system is seen over the Tasman Sea, and is finally
moving away from the continent.
