Much of the country remains cloud free under the influence of a dominant high
pressure system, with weather systems remaining to the south.

The exceptions are areas of high cloud across parts of northern Australia,
stretching from a trough over the Kimberley, and fog and low cloud for parts of
the south-east.

Two cold fronts can be seen - one moving through Tasmania, and another brushing
the south-west Western Australian coastline, and a series of fronts lying
further back over the Southern Ocean.
