IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1800UTC chart on 27 May 2015 Issued at 5:00 am EST Thursday on 28 May 2015 A broad cloud band extends from the northwest of WA through northern parts of South Australia into NSW. This cloud is due to an upper trough. A weakening frontal system is slipping to the southeast of Tasmania but patchy low cloud remains over parts of the state as well as over southwest Victoria. A stronger cold front is approaching Tasmania from the west and is also bringing areas of low cloud to the far southwest of WA. Patchy low cloud along parts of the Queensland east coast is due to a moist onshore airflow.
