A cloud band associated with a cold front is crossing southeast to Tasman Sea.
This is producing areas of middle level cloud througheastern NSW, to Tasman Sea.
Thunderstorms are visible within the cloud over the Tasman Sea.

Patchy low cloud is along parts of the south coast of Australia due to onshore
flow.

Mid-level cloud with embedded thunderstorms is streaming away from the tropics
over the northern Indian Ocean, stretching southeast through central parts of WA
to central Australia. This is brought about by an upper jetstream, bringing
tropical moisture to continental Australia.

High and middle level cloud associated with a cold front is approaching
southwest WA.

The rest of the continent is mostly cloud free under the influence of a high
presure ridge.
