An extensive band of middle to upper level cloud with embedded thunderstorms is
present over eastern Queensland and extends over the northeastern part of NSW. A
cold front across the Bight reaches the southeast WA coast with a band of mainly
middle and high level cloud. Areas of cloud can also be seen over the northern
parts of the NT and the Kimberley region.

The rest of the country is mostly clear apart from areas of low cloud along the
NSW coast and over southwest WA.
