Much of the country remains cloud-free under the influence of a dominant high
pressure system, with most weather systems remaining to the south.

The exceptions are areas of cloud across parts of northern Australia, stretching
from a trough over the Kimberley, and fog and low cloud for parts of the
south-east.

A strong cold front is approaching south-west Western Australia, with a large
mass of cold, speckly cloud in its wake.
