Showers and thunderstorms continue over northern Australia due to a hot, humid
and unstable airmass. Showers and thunderstorms are also visible near a surface
trough through the interior of WA from the Pilbara to the Eucla region. A cold
front is tracking south of the Bight. Southerly winds behind the front are
directing areas of low cloud along the southern WA coast.

In the southeast, a moist easterly airstream is bringing areas of low cloud to
coastal areas of New South Wales and eastern Victoria. Thunderstorm activity can
also be seen over the northeast and northern interior of NSW.
