A broad trough extends from northern New South Wales into the Tasman Sea,
bringing rain to much of eastern NSW.

A cold front with some low cloud is approaching southeast South Australia and
western Victoria, with a pool of cold air behind it indicated by the patchy
cloud. A trough with a large amount of middle level cloud is further west,
approaching the southwest coast of Western Australia

Northern Australia has some areas of rain and embedded thunderstorms associated
with troughs over the Top End, the tip of Cape York and coastal northwest WA.
