A cold front lies over the eastern Tasman Sea and extends into a low pressure
system to the east of Tasmania. The coldest air now lies to the east of Tasmania
and is represented by occasional thunderstorm cloud. Low cloud lingers about New
South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and coastal South Australia, within the cool air
behind this change.

A large area of cloud over the Indian Ocean is associated with a middle level
disturbance, with patchy high cloud streaming eastwards across the Western
Australia coast.

Low cloud is seen across the Bight and is trapped under a weak ridge of high

A trough in the Tasman Sea is triggering a band of cloud with embedded
thunderstorms, which extends over New Zealand.

The remainder of the country is mostly clear.
