Extensive low cloud lies west of Tasmania and across large parts of the
southeast. This is associated with a cold airmass and an approaching high
pressure system causing a temperature inversion.

Convective cloud from thunderstorms is over the northern Kimberley.

An extensive area of mid to high level cloud is over inland WA and western SA.
This is due to an upper level disturbance.
