A trough extends from the Kimberley region across the Northern Territory and
into northwest Queensland with areas of cloud and embedded thunderstorms in its
vicinity. Thunderstorm activity is also evident along the north Queensland
coastline, particularly around Cairns and Townsville.

A trough extends across the Gascoyne and Pilbara regions of Western Australia,
with isolated thunderstorm activity to the north.

A strong cold front and its associated cloud band is moving into New South
Wales, and extends offshore into the Tasman Sea, wrapping around into a low
south of Tasmania. There is also a secondary low centre to the west of Tasmania.

Low level cloud can be seen along much of the southern coastline of the country,
associated with onshore flow.

The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
