IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0600UTC Chart Issued at 6:08 pm EDT Monday on 30 January 2023 A trough extends from the Kimberley region of WA through central Australia to a low over northeast NSW and extends further into the Tasman Sea. A large area of cloud with embedded thunderstorms is present near and to the north and east of this trough. Another trough extends southwards from the Pilbara region to the southwest coast of WA with an associated band of cloud and thunderstorms mainly near the trough. Low cloud covers much of South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria due to a moist onshore flow. The central eastern coast of Queensland and southeastern parts of Western Australia are mostly cloud free.
