Issued at 6:15 pm EST Sunday on 20 April 2014
Patchy high cloud can be seen over the northern tropics of Australia with a few isolated thunderstorms over the waters to the north of the country.
Patchy low cloud over much of Victoria and Tasmania is associated with a cold front which is moving across Bass Strait.
A mid level trough is generating a middle level cloudband over the far south of Western Australia and also over the Bight. While high cloud extends from Severe Tropical Cyclone "Jack", which is well to the west of Australia, to the Western Australian Interior.
