IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC Chart on 02 July 2016 Issued at 11:46 am EST Saturday on 02 July 2016 Low level cloud is visible over South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and inland over southern New South Wales due to a westerly flow being directed by a dominating high pressure system over southern Australia. Middle level cloud extends over the Pilbara, Gascoyne and Interior Districts of Western Australia into central Australia and western Queensland. This is due to a surface trough near the Western Australian coast and an upper level trough. Onshore winds are resulting in patchy cloud about the North Tropical Coast of Queensland. The rest of the country remains mostly clear under a high pressure ridge.
