An extensive area of convective cloud and isolated thunderstorms in a vigorous
and cold southerly flow extends over the Tasman Sea. Areas of low cloud lie over
western Victoria, western Tasmania and adjacent waters.

A cloud band associated with a strong cold front is crossing WA, with cellular
cloud and isolated thunderstorms over southwest parts of the State.

The rest of the country remains generally cloud-free under the influence of a
large high pressure system.
