Troughs extend from a low in the Pilbara region with one along the Western
Australia coastline and another that passes through central Northern Territory,
interior Queensland towards a low off the coast of New South Wales. High cloud
and embedded thunderstorms are present on and near these troughs.

Low cloud covers much of Tasmania and Victoria due to moist onshore flow.

The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
