IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0000UTC Chart on 20 April 2018 Issued at 11:12 am EST Friday on 20 April 2018 A band of patchy middle level cloud stretching across central WA and through to northern SA is associated with a trough. Embedded thunderstorms are visible within this cloud band. A separate surface trough over southeast SA is generating areas of middle level cloud with isolated thunderstorms. A surface trough just off the coast of NSW and southeast QLD is generating an extensive band of middle level cloud with embedded thunderstorms that extends over the western Tasman Sea to southeast QLD. An area of middle level cloud and isolated thunderstorms over northeast NSW and southeast QLD is being driven by a weak upper level trough.
