A strong cold front and associated middle level cloud band is moving across
southern South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.

An upper level trough is responsible for the middle level cloud streaming from
the Northern Territory Top End, across much of eastern Queensland to out over
the Tasman Sea.

Some high cloud can be seen over southwest WA streaming ahead of a series of
cold fronts which are moving across the southern Indian Ocean.

The rest of the continent is mostly clear due a ridge of high pressure.
