A trough in the Pilbara region generates areas of cloud and convective activity
through the Kimberley, Pilbara and into southern Western Australia associated
with a cloud band down to the Bight.

Isolated storms in the Top End of the Northern Territory are the remnants of
daytime convection there.

A low pressure system in northern New South Wales extends a trough into
Queensland, with associated thunderstorm activity seen in New South Wales and
southern Queensland.

The rest of the country is mostly cloud free apart from areas of low level cloud
over southern and southeastern coastal regions and southeast ranges.
