A trough of low pressure system extends across eastern Queensland, through
eastern NSW and connects to a weak low south of Tasmania. Associated cloud band
and thunderstorm activity is visible within the vicinity of the trough, cold
front and the low.

A trough with associated cloud and thunderstorms extends from northern WA
through to northern NT.

An extensive area of cloud associated with a cold front is moving across
southern WA. Meanwhile, a pre-frontal trough ahead of the cold front in southern
WA is generating thundery showers.

A broad area of low cloud lingers about the southeast SA and Victoria coast
while high cloud is streaming onto SA .

The remainder of Australia is mostly clear due to a high pressure ridge.
