An band of patchy middle level cloud extends over parts of Northern Territory,
Queensland and New South Wales, and is associated with a slow moving surface
trough.

A cold front lies over western Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, with
rain areas and thunderstorms activity near the frontal zone and showers and
thunderstorms near the low pressure system over the southeast of SA.

A high to the southwest of WA is directing a moist onshore flow to the remaining
southern coast areas of Western Australia and South Australia, with patchy low
level cloud evident.

Cloud associated with another cold front can be seen over waters to the south of
Tasmania.
