IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 1200UTC Chart Issued at 11:29 pm EST Wednesday on 21 April 2021 A trough over the Coral Sea and another in the Gulf of Carpentaria are generating convective cloud and thunderstorms across the central and eastern tropics, particularly about the North Tropical Coast of QLD. A series of troughs in the Tasman Sea are generating low level cloud across southeastern NSW, and VIC. A cold front is passing the southeastern states and TAS with a large band of middle and high level cloud. The remainder of the country is mainly cloud free.
