Monsoon trough extends across the Top End to Ex-Tropical Cyclone "Gillian" in the Gulf of Carpentaria to Ex-Tropical Cyclone "Hadi" over the Coral Sea. Areas of thunderstorms are evident in the vicintiy of the monsoon trough, mainly about the southern Gulf of Carpentaria, Peninsula district and the top end.
A cold front and moist southeasterly flow across the NSW coast is generating low and middle level cloud. Isolated thunderstorms are embedded in this cloud band. Patchy low cloud is evident behind the front over southern Victoria and Bass strait islands.
A band of cloud with embedded thunderstorms is associated with a surface trough across northern, central-west and southwestern parts of Western Australia.
Generally clear conditions across the remainder of Australia.
