A thick band of middle to high level cloud and storms stretches from the QLD/NSW coastal border across the Tasman sea due to an upper level trough. Widespread low level cloud can be seen over southern SA, VIC and TAS due to a moist westerly flow. High level cloud is streaming over WA and SA. The remainder of the country is mainly cloud free.
