Ex-Tropical Cyclone "Trevor" is located over central QLD. Extensive cloud
persists near the low with rain areas and thunderstorms expected. A thick middle
and high level cloud band extends through southeast Queensland and then past New
Zealand along a trough and cold front. Speckled, cellular low level cloud to the
west of the front indicating the colder air mass is over the Tasman Sea and
slowly moving away from Victoria and Tasmania.

Ex-Tropical Cyclone "Veronica" is located close to the Pilbara coast of WA and
is generating isolated thunderstorms close to the low. Patchy high and middle
level cloud can be seen circulating around the system and extending over inland
WA. Isolated thunderstorms over the Top End are being generated by low pressure
troughs. Patchy high cloud is streaming across southwest WA from the Indian
Ocean.

Low cloud covers western Tasmania and the SA/Victoria border region in an
onshore westerly airstream.
