A strong cold front is moving over southern parts of Western Australia. A pool
of cold, unstable air with isolated thunderstorms is evident behind the front,
over southwest parts, as depicted by the speckled cloud. Middle and high level
cloud with isolated embedded thunderstorms extends through eastern parts of
Western Australia into adjacent western parts of South Australia and well south
into the Bight and Southern Ocean. High cloud extends over South Australia and
into western Victoria.

Southeasterly winds are generating patchy low to middle level cloud over parts
of the Queensland coast and northern NSW coast. A deep low and cold front is
moving through the Tasman Sea, evident in the middle to high level cloud
wrapping in towards the centre of the low.
