A cold front is currently aligned through western NSW to eastern Victoria and to
the east of Tasmania. A weakening cloud band is associated with this front and
extends to central Australia. Cold air behind the front is visible over Bass
Strait and Tasmania as depicted by the speckled cloud.

Onshore winds are resulting in patchy cloud along the southern Western Australia
coast. Southeasterly winds are bringing patchy low cloud to the Queensland
coast. Low pressure troughs are responsible for the patchy cloud across northern
districts of Western Australia and through the interior of Queensland.
