A trough over the Coral sea is generating convective cloud and thunderstorms.

A thick band of middle to high level cloud and storms stretches from the QLD/NSW
coastal border across the Tasman sea due to an upper level trough.

Widespread low level cloud can be seen over southern SA, VIC and TAS due to a
moist westerly flow.

High level cloud is streaming over WA and SA.

The remainder of the country is mainly cloud free.
