A Tropical Low to the northwest of Western Australia is generating very active
convection in this vicinity. A low pressure trough over the Indian Ocean is
producing thunderstorm activity with clouds streaming to the west coast of
Western Australia. Isolated thunderstorms can also be seen near the coast of New
South Wales.

Areas of low cloud are drifting over Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, South
Australia and southeastern parts of Western Australia in a moist onshore flow.

Patchy high level cloud associated with the jet stream is moving quickly over
the eastern Queensland.

A high pressure ridge is keeping other parts of the country mostly cloud free.
