A weakening upper level disturbance near Cape York Peninsula is bringing rain
and isolated thunderstorms to northern Queensland. Onshore easterly winds are
resulting in patchy low cloud near east tropical coast of Queensland.

A cloud band associated with a cold front and trough is bringing rain to
northeastern New South Wales and the interior of Queensland. A combination of
heat lows and troughs is producing isolated showers across northwestern
Australia.

The high pressure system over the Bight is bringing areas of low cloud to parts
of the continent's south coast and western Tasmania, while keeping the rest of
the country mostly clear.
