IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0600UTC Chart Issued at 5:19 pm EST Saturday on 21 May 2022 A mix of high and low cloud over eastern Qld and northeastern NSW and northeastern SA is driven by both an upper level and a surface trough. Weak surface troughs are responsible for the middle level cloud across parts of WA, SA, and southern NT. Subsiding air beneath a strong high pressure system west of Tasmania is trapping moisture near the surface, which is evident as a broad area of low cloud. The north of the continent remains mostly cloud free.
