A ridge of high pressure is developing across the southeast of Australia but
areas of low cloud remain about parts of South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.
Areas of low cloud can also be seen about the NSW coast and adjacent ranges
within a moderating southerly airstream.

A cold front and its associated cloud band are moving across the southwest of
Western Australia. Further north, areas of low and middle level cloud can be
seen about parts of the Top End and northern Kimberley regions within a moist
easterly trade wind flow. The remainder of Australia is mostly clear.
