A band of middle to high level cloud extends from the Kimberley region of WA
through central Australia and northern SA. This is the result of an upper level
trough aligned through the western interior.

Middle level cloud extends over the Peninsula district of Queensland from
instability further north.

High level cloud is drifting over the far southwest of Western Australia ahead
of cold front which is slipping to the south of WA.

Onshore westerly winds are bringing patchy cloud to southern and western
Victoria and Tasmania. Southerly winds are resulting in patchy cloud and showers
about the east coast of Australia.

High pressure is keeping the remainder of Australia mostly clear.
