A trough over the Coral Sea and another in the Gulf of Carpentaria are
generating convective cloud and thunderstorms across the central and eastern
tropics, particularly about the North Tropical Coast of QLD.

A series of troughs in the Tasman Sea are generating low level cloud across
southeastern NSW, and VIC.

A cold front is passing the southeastern states and TAS with a large band of
middle and high level cloud.

The remainder of the country is mainly cloud free.
