IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1800UTC chart on 2 September 2015 Issued at 5:00 am EST Thursday on 03 September 2015 An band of patchy middle level cloud extends over parts of Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales, and is associated with a slow moving surface trough. A cold front lies over Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, with rain areas and thunderstorms activity near the frontal zone and showers and thunderstorms near the low pressure system over the southeast of SA and western NSW. A high to the southwest of WA is directing a moist onshore flow to the remaining southern coast areas of Western Australia and South Australia, with patchy low level cloud evident. Cloud associated with another cold front can be seen over Tasmania.
