A cold front is crossing the eastern New South Wales with the main cloud band
over western Tasman Sea and eastern Tasmania. To the west of the cold front a
large mass of cold air has produced a large and vigorous field of speckled
convective cloud with isolated thunderstorms around the the Victorian, South
Australian and western Tasmanian coastlines. This speckled cloud extends
throughout the Bight and south to the Southern Ocean.

The rest of the country is mostly clear, with only patchy cloud near a surface
trough that extends across Northern Territory and Queensland.
