A cold front is moving to the east of Tasmania with the odd shower about the
east coast. Extensive middle and high level cloud is streaming from South
Australia across southern NSW, Victoria and Bass Strait. Patchy rain and shower
activity is occurring with this feature through South Australia with isolated
thunderstorms. High based cloud is also evident through central Australia
associated with a broad low pressure trough. A cold front is tracking near the
southern Western Australia coast with areas of cloud along the coastal fringe.
Low cloud is visible about the southeast Queensland coast and Wide Bay and
Burnett districts due to an onshore northeasterly airstream.

The north of the country is mostly clear.
