IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 25 January 2015 Issued at 11:46 am EDT Sunday on 25 January 2015 A broad area of low pressure extends over large parts of northern Australia causing cloud with embedded thunderstorms over much of the tropical north of the country. Cloud and thunderstorms also persist over most of the the northern half of WA. A cloud band associated with a cold front can be seen over eastern Victoria and Tasmania. The rest of the country remains mostly clear apart from some low cloud along the southern coast.
