Patchy middle-level cloud near southeast Queensland is caused by an upper level disturbance. An unstable west/southwesterly flow is bringing patchy low cloud to parts of Tasmania, southern Victoria and South Australia. A strong cold front and its associated cloud band are moving through the southwest of Western Australia and high-level cloud streams ahead of this system to extend across the south of Western Australia.
