Extensive cloud with isolated storms can be seen across eastern Australia this
evening, being driven by a surface trough of low pressure and supported by an
upper trough sitting to the west of the surface feature.

A monsoon trough extends across the north of the country, driving scattered
thunderstorm activity.

A low in the Bight is driving cloudy conditions south of the continent, and
dragging areas of patchy cloud up over southwestern WA.
