A cold front and associated cloud band extends from South Australia to Tasmania
then further southeast. Cumulus cloud behind the front is bringing showers to
the southern coastline of the continent.

Southeasterly winds are generating areas of low cloud and isolated showers along
the Queensland coast. Mostly clear condtions persist over remaining parts of the
continent due to a broad ridge of high pressure.
