IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 28 January 2015 Issued at 2:10 pm EDT Wednesday on 28 January 2015 A broad area of low pressure extends across northern Australia causing cloud with embedded thunderstorms over much of the Top End in the Northern Territory, as well as northern and eastern WA, and the Far North Queensland. An area of cloud with remanant thunderstorms also extends along the NSW coast into northeastern New South Wales and southeast Queensland and is associated with a trough. The rest of the country remains mostly clear apart from some low cloud in the Bight extending across Tasmania and southern Victoria.
