Middle and high level cloud is streaming across central parts of Western
Australia through western South Australia and into the Bight with isolated
thunderstorms ahead of the system. This cloud is associated with a cold front
that is moving through western SA with a low pressure trough ahead of the front.

Another cold front is approaching southwest WA.

Thunderstorms can be seen in the vicinity of inland low pressure troughs over
the northern parts of the country. In the east extensive smoke areas remain for
central and northern areas of NSW and southeast Queensland due to ongoing
bushfires.

Further south, high cloud ahead of the cold front is drifting over Tasmania and
parts of Victoria.
