A trough extends from southwest Western Australia through central Australia to
southeast Queensland, and another trough extends across eastern New South Wales.
A large band of cloud embedded thunderstorms is associated with these troughs.

A cold front in the extends over eastern Tasmania and Victoria with an
associated band of low-mid level cloud.

Onshore flow along southern coastal areas of Western Australia, South Australia
and Victoria is also generating areas of low cloud.

The rest of the continent is mostly cloud free apart from some patchy cloud
through the tropics.
