A strong cold front is moving across the southeast of the country with an middle
level cloud band which extends from NSW, Victoria and Tasmania to out over the
Tasman Sea. While a weak trough is generating a patchy cloud band over central
Australia. 

Areas of low cloud can be seen over coastal areas of NSW and Queensland. While a
low pressure trough and approaching cold front is is generating a cloud band and
some isolated thunderstorms over the Great Australian Bight.
