A large pool of cold air is over the Tasman Sea in the wake of a cold front.

Patchy low cloud affects parts of the NSW and QLD coasts. This is from onshore
flow driven by the high pressure system centred over Victoria.

A thin line of high cloud stretches from near Broome to the QLD central coast.

Cloud over southwest WA is due to a surface trough in the vicinity.

The rest of the country remains relatively cloud-free under the influence of a
strong high pressure ridge.
