A weakening low pressure system is visible east of the central Queensland coast.
Extensive cloud is observed to the east of this system over the Coral and Tasman
Seas, with isolated thunderstorms. Areas of low cloud extend towards the QLD and
New South Wales coasts due to easterlies south of the low.

A trough of low pressure extends from the NT through northern Queensland and
links to a cold front over Victoria and into a low south of Tasmania. Associated
cloud band and thunderstorm activity is visible near the trough, cold front and
low.

A broad area of low cloud lingers about the SA coast within an onshore flow.

The remainder of Australia is mostly clear due to high pressure ridge.
