IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 1800UTC Chart Issued at 6:43 am EDT Friday on 22 January 2021 Convective cloud and thunderstorms are visible across the northern tropics, and in central NSW extending up to southern QLD, associated with a series of surface troughs. A developing Tropical Low off the northwest WA coast is generating large areas of mid to high level cloud across northern WA, spreading across inland parts of the continent. A large mid to high level cloud band is moving eastwards ahead of cold front west of Tasmania. Moist onshore flow is bringing areas of low level cloud to the far southwest WA coast, northeast NSW and southeast QLD.
