A complex low pressure system over Victoria and southern New South Wales is
generating a middle level cloud band and isolated thunderstorms. To the west of
this areas of low cloud can be seen about the south coast of Western Australia
and South Australia within a moist southerly onshore flow.

An area of isolated thunderstorms just off the Kimberley coast is associated
with a weak low pressure system. While down in the southwest an upper level jet
is directing high cloud over southwest Western Australia.

A broad area of low pressure over the Tasman Sea is producing a large area of
mainly middle level cloud and thunderstorms. The central and northeastern parts
of the country are mainly cloud free under the influence of a ridge of high
