IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC Chart on 01 September 2016 Issued at 11:00 am EST Thursday on 01 September 2016 A middle level cloud band extends from the Northern Territory to the southeast of the continent and is associated with an upper level trough. An inland trough moving across WA is associated with a thick, low to middle level cloud band that extends through eastern parts of the state and the western parts of SA. It is also bringing thunderstorm activity to southern parts of SA. Patchy low cloud can seen about the east coast of Queensland within a moist southeasterly airflow. Patchy low cloud can also be seen over southeast parts of South Australia and northern VIC associated with stable airmass under the influence of a ridge of high pressure.
